How does a relationship with Patriot HR work?
We take over your routine, manual HR
tasks so that you can reallocate your people (and/or payroll dollars)
to activities vital to your company’s operations. It’s
as simple as that. You call all the shots - we are simply your
support staff. We offer “best practice” consultation,
but you decide what works best for your company, your employees,
and your situation. You maintain control over all of the issues
that affect your company.
Will I lose control over my own employees?
Absolutely not. Again, we are your support team. We can provide consultation
on employment and HR-related matters, but you make the final decisions on all
issues that affect your company. You decide your company’s direction, policies,
etc., while Patriot HR takes over all of the administrative details.

Who is responsible for the employee's wages
and employment taxes?
You “foot the bill.” Patriot HR administers your payroll. Shortly
before each payday, we will automatically withdraw from your pre-designated checking
account your employees’ payroll, your share of the payroll taxes, and our
fee. Then we cut your employees’ paychecks on your behalf and deduct and
remit taxes to the proper agencies. Your billing statements will be itemized
statements to show the breakdown of all costs and fees.

Isn’t outsourcing the same as
offshoring?
No. Outsourcing is when you have someone outside your company perform a function
for your company. Offshoring is when companies outsource functions to people
or companies located overseas. Therefore, you can outsource without offshoring.
Patriot HR is based in Canton, Ohio, and we don’t offshore anything. So
when you outsource to us, you know that you are helping to create and retain
jobs right here in the United States.
When should a company outsource?
There is no “right time” to outsource. Or should we say there’s no “wrong time.” We can help growing companies avoid the costs associated with creating and maintaining a human resources department. We can help companies identify inefficiencies to cut costs. And we can help them prepare for growth . . . or brace for a downturn.

Do I have to reduce my staff to get benefits from outsourcing?
No.
While outsourcing can help you
cut costs by allowing you to
reduce payroll, that’s

on to the people you already have! Outsourcing can give
your employees the time they desperately need to focus
on money-making or cost-saving activities rather than
mundane and time-consuming paperwork. Plus, outsourcing

How secure are your systems?
We are very serious about making sure your information
is safe. Your information is backed up nightly and stored
in an off-site media safe. Copies of your information
are also stored in a separate media safe monthly. In
addition, our systems are protected by redundant firewalls,
and access lists on routers block threatening traffic.
Your information is encrypted and transferred over secure
servers. And all users have unique User IDs and passwords
to access our systems.
