President's Letter
To Whom it May Concern,
I have a passion for business.
From the time I was eight years old, I knew that
I had to be in business for myself as an entrepreneur.
Some kids excelled in sports or went on to be doctors,
lawyers, etc., but I went the route of starting and
running six small- and medium-sized businesses.
Now, after years and years of running these businesses,
I have an appreciation for the administrative tasks
and paperwork associated having employees. I affectionately
refer to employee paperwork as "yuck paperwork," because
there is nothing good or productive about it.
Payroll is perhaps the biggest culprit. And payroll
begins on the “shop floor” with the collection
of employee hours. Once those hours are collected,
the typical Accounting Department then must make
adjustments to that pay such as subtracting taxes,
benefits contributions, wage garnishments, and other
deductions and adding expense reimbursements, such
as mileage. Then they run payroll (either internally
or through an outside vendor) and paychecks are passed
out. After running payroll, the Accounting Department
tries to sweep up a million little details and magically
get all of that data into their General Ledger software.
And the cycle repeats itself over and over with each
new pay period.
But “yuck paperwork” and mundane administrative
HR tasks are not just limited to payroll. Administrative
employment tasks such as new hire paperwork, Unemployment
claims administration, Workers’ Compensation
administration, Family and Medical Leave Act administration,
tracking attendance, tracking and calculating leave
time, and job costing, also put a heavy burden on
a company’s Human Resources and Accounting
Departments. My passion is removing this mundane
and expensive paperwork from these departments by
offering a more efficient outsourced solution that
is less expensive than what they are presently doing.
Basically, my company handles our clients’ “yuck
employment paperwork” for them better, faster,
and cheaper than they can do it themselves. And the
best part is, we offer our services á la carte,
so our customers only pay for what they use.
One of the reasons my companies are successful is
because I have gone to great lengths to destroy the
hidden expense that employment paperwork causes.
By automating 100% of the employment paperwork and
administrative tasks for our customers (and ourselves),
they (and we) can spend more time focusing on our
respective businesses instead of being distracted
by non-revenue producing tasks. Interested in learning
